Its been a while!

Well not to much has happened sense my last post! In January I had my tonsils out, which was very very painful! And also in January my dad had knee replacement surgery which didnt go so well! The healing process is not going like it should so the first few months were really hard for him! But now he is doing and he is back at work until June 1st when he retires!

The sunny warm weather is starting to appear, which means beach time:) I've been to the beach a few times but I am super ready to go more often!! But the sad thing about this summer is that Patrick is in Cali for 3 months which is most of the summer:( But Im excited that I get to go and see him in June!

Next weekend I'm going to be heading to Moore County to go to a Mother Daughter banquet with Patrick mom and Granny which I'm pretty excited about!

Welcome in the New Year!

We are so happy the christmas craziness is over! We had to drive all over for christmas starting with going to my parents house. After we got to my parents house poor Patrick  helped my dad out and went with him back to VA and finished packing up my Grandmother apartment. Then he drove the Uhaul back to NC and unpacked it all into her new apartment. Hes so great and willing to help out ever if it mean being on the road 24-7:) Then we started up with all the actually christmas driving the day after Patrick got back from VA. We went to Ellerbe on christmas eve then back to my parents house and on christmas day we went to Holden Beach for christmas with his mom then back to our house. We are so tried of being on the road!!! But now we the New Year here we are as happy as can be to see what its going to bring our way! On new Years Eve we went out to dinner with Patricks brother and his girl friend Mary Ann at a Japanese restaurant. Then we went back to there house to bring in the New Year, and we played Mad Gab which was hilarious! 


I am so happy for this New Year for a few reasons, im getting my tonsils out next week and my bestie is moving here from Cali!! Im also very happy for this New Year because Patrick and I will be married for two years, and I get to spend to holidays this year that I didnt get to spend with him last year when he was deployed.

car riding....

Well we have been in the car so much here latly and this is just the beginning of it. So far this weekend we drove to my parents house in Pinehurst NC on friday and then Saturday we drove to Richmond VA. Once we got to VA we had to pack up my grandmothers apartment, and wow does she have a lot of stuff! Then Sunday we drove back to my parents house and then left there and now we are on our way home. Thankfully! Then all the christmas driving begins later this week... wow im tired of being on 4 wheels i wanna be on my two feet!

Christmas Craziness

Well over the weekend Patrick and I went to Target and Walmart, and it was pure craziness in both places. And boy can people get rude and pure mean around Christmas time, I thought that Christmas time was supposed to be when people were nice and cheerful. Well we just got what we needed and got outta there! Today I am not really sure why didnt accomplish much while I was "Christmas Shopping". I went all over looking for stuff to get for Christmas and didnt get anything except for a Christmas dress for Cali. (Prolly because I forgot half of what I was shopping for) I just hope that all the shopping wont have to be done online.

Just Beginning

We are just now starting a blog for our family. Well nothing is really new with the Corey household, we are just trying to get everything ready for christmas. We have yet to finish putting up the icicle lights on the outside of the house because it gets dark before Patrick get off work. We are hoping to get it down by this weekend. We have gotten the christmas tree put up and decorated thankfully. We are ready and excited for the christmas season to spend time with friends and family, but not ready for the cold weather! When we were watching TV today we saw a clip of he weather for this weekend and the weather man said the could be snow... NOT HAPPY (well mainly Bailey & Amanda)! We live at the beach, were is the sun and heat at we want you back?
